Accidental loss or damage to construction plant and equipment whilst in storage, transit, on the contract site and being used as a tool of the trade, is protected under this policy. Cover may be extended to include the hiring of substitute plant, as well as loss or damage to the plant hired. Ongoing hire charges following loss or damage for which you may be legally liable, can also be covered.
